This is a hotel renovation project set in an abandoned lavender processing factory in Xinjiang. The design concept blends Xinjiang’s exotic tradition with modern elegance. The story follows the urban lady traveling alone to China’s western border, where she meets a stranger and explores together, leaving behind fleeting yet beautiful memories, akin to the gentle scent of lavender.
Hotel & Resort
The design revolves around this concept, renovating the interior to include a central lobby, restaurant, gift shop, guest rooms, and logistics area. The symmetrical layout and cozy colors merge ethnic traditions with modern comforts. The abandoned boiler serves as a historical display. Modern elegance meets Xinjiang’s warmth, offering a friendly experience. Lavender scent enhances the ambiance, creating a memorable stay for each guest.
