The Willoughby is a high-rise mixed-use building located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. The design team was commissioned to create the design for both the public spaces and apartment units of this tower. Targeting an audience primarily composed of urbanized young individuals, the building’s proximity to the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University influenced the design approach. The designers advocated for crafting a project that embodies a youthful, upscale residential space with a strong urban ambiance.

Utilizing brass and elegant walnut as the primary color palette, along with ample natural lighting, each space radiates warmth and a sophisticated modern atmosphere. The meticulous design details harmonize with the intentionally exposed architectural concrete structure, enhancing the overall richness and dynamism of the project.
