This hotel renovation project is set in an abandoned lavender processing factory in Xinjiang. The design concept blends the region’s exotic traditions with modern elegance. It draws inspiration from the story of an urban woman traveling alone to China’s western frontier, where she meets a stranger and explores the area with him—creating fleeting yet beautiful memories, much like the gentle scent of lavender. The interior renovation reflects this narrative, incorporating a central lobby, restaurant, gift shop, guest rooms, and logistics area. A symmetrical layout and a cozy, earthy color palette weave together ethnic traditions and contemporary comforts. The original boiler is preserved and showcased as a historical feature, paying tribute to the site's industrial past. Modern elegance meets the warmth of Xinjiang, offering guests a welcoming and immersive experience. The subtle aroma of lavender enhances the atmosphere, leaving each visitor with a lasting and memorable stay.
